Activities

There is something for everyone, depending on your interest's,

going on in the club everyday of the week.

Being a politically owned establishment, there are

regular meetings of both Constituency, Ogmore and Bridgend,

these are usually held in the evenings in the upstairs lounge.

On the social side, there is plenty going on, such as Line Dancing

with our resident DJ Alan Carpenter. He has a happy band of

followers, and the music he plays is worth a listen. There

are Line Dance Classes run by Dave & Cath Harrison. They

have been teaching Line Dance for a good number of years, their

classes are well attended. So if you fancy learning a new dance

give it a try. You're most welcome.

Monday night is QUIZ & BINGO Night, so come along

and meet some new friends, who knows you may WIN.

Bridgend Male Choir holds its rehearsals in the club. The

singing is top notch. To find out more why not visit their

Then there's our own Cabaret night, with top artiste's supplied

by leading South Wales Agency " FairDeal Entertainments",

with bingo, tote and raffles. Good prizes to be won.

Sunday morning there's a quiz held in the bar, run by Julie

(stewardess), which the members take very serious, Ha! Ha!

You can even start your Sunday dinner, every team gets a

    plate of roast spuds.

On the sporting side, the club has two Darts teams, both of which

challenge for top honours in the local league, and two Pool teams.

Again both play to a high standard. The Golf Society meets on the

first Sunday of each month, and from March to October (once a

month) challenges some of the toughest courses in South Wales,

    including the 19th.

There is a Slimming Class every week, if you want to loose a few

pounds you know where to come.
